The objects of the fund are to provide grants for Queens Nurses, Qualified District Nurses and Registered General Nurses who worked within the District Nursing Services of a local authority or trust for over 5 years, being in need of assistance who have retired from nursing or permanently ceased working on account of bodily or mental infirmity or otherwise incapable of continuing to work.
