Our commitment

We want Find a Charity to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technologies or have accessibility needs. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

We use semantic HTML so screen readers and other assistive tools can navigate the page correctly. Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum. All interactive elements are keyboard-accessible, and form fields have visible, descriptive labels. Search results are announced to screen readers when they update.

Known limitations

This site is a prototype and accessibility testing is ongoing. The optional map feature may not be fully accessible to keyboard-only users at this stage. We are working to address this.

How to get help or report a problem

If you find any part of the site difficult to use, please tell us via the Contact page and describe the problem. We will aim to respond within five working days and to fix verified accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
