The objects of the charity are "the relief and prevention of poverty in the ecclesiastical Parish of St Margaret of Antioch, Lee in particular but not exclusively by providing grants towards the relief or and otherwise to provide assistance to the poor, infirm or aged, for the purposes of assisting such persons in visiting the country, seaside or elsewhere for rest or a change of air ".
