THE TRAM 226 TRUST

1. To advance education and heritage for the public benefit:- (a) by the conservation and restoration of Edinburgh tram car no. 226 of 1906 (b) by promoting the restoration and preservation of historic public transport artefacts related to Edinburgh and the Lothians. The tram 226 is on display at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum, where there are engineering facilities. The sub frame and running gear is at present being developed through technical drawings, with volunteers undertaking the work.
