Helensburgh Sailing Club

About

HSC (SCIO) exists to promote watersports in Helensburgh and the surrounding area. The club is organised such that different threads are managed by assigned teams which include a mix of trustees and volunteers with the skills, experience and training to deliver against that objective. These include: 1. Training: Junior Training runs during May/June and August/September - aimed mainly at the 8 - 15 age group and RYA-accredited 2. Afloat facility provision in the community: ref the Helensburgh Challenger Group (a separate SCIO). HCG a enjoys heavily-discounted associate arrangement, as does the Helensburgh Sea Cadet Unit. 3. Club racing for dinghies and keelboats 4. Community events via support for other clubs as well as direct support for charitable endeavours such as transatlantic rowing.
