Durness Parish Hall SCIO was established to provide and maintain Durness Village Hall, community facility, for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Durness and the surrounding area, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. The charity manages and maintains the hall and makes it available for hire by community groups, organisations and individuals. Through the provision of this facility the charity supports social, recreational, educational and cultural activities which promote community participation, reduce social isolation and contribute to the wellbeing of the local community. The trustees are responsible for the governance, maintenance and sustainable management of the hall.
