Charity Brief: Najwa New Scots Carers Centre Najwa New Scots Carers Centre is a community-led charity dedicated to advancing health, promoting equality and diversity, reducing health inequalities, and empowering individuals from ethnic minority and migrant communities across Scotland. Our work is rooted in lived experience, compassion, and the belief that every individual—regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, or socio-economic background—deserves equal access to opportunity, wellbeing, and belonging. We provide culturally responsive, inclusive, and accessible services designed to reduce loneliness, support vulnerable groups, promote disability inclusion, and advance education. Through community engagement, peer-led learning, and partnership with funders such as the Ethnic Minority Development Fund (EMDF) and The National Lottery, we create safe spaces where people can overcome barriers and thrive.
