About

Giving Back works with families, young people, and community members through our different projects. In 2024 some of the work we completed was, providing family fun sports activities for over 900 individuals, food for the community reaching 887 people and supporting 242 interactions regarding Mental health. The three projects which run in Broughty Ferry and Dundee are: - Forma Mentis, a project to support mental health, substance use, benefit advice and advocacy through group work and 1-1 sessions at home or in the community. The Youth Employability Programme (YEP) – a project that assists young people who are neurodivergent and or have mental health issues to engage in employment and personal development working with a Mental Health nurse. Sakura, a community café that is being developed to work in partnership with both the Forma Mentis and the YEP as well as developing a larder to assist the community with food poverty.
