About

The objective of the Association is to organise, promote and simulate an interest in playing of the music of the bagpipe, side, tenor and bass drum( both as solo instruments and within the the context of a juvenile Pipe band) among young people residing within the Oban and Lorn area. The Association aims to provide a widen training to young people within the Oban and Lorn with an interest in bagpipes and the side, tenor and bass drum. to develop awareness, knowledge and understanding in these instruments and to encourage skills, talents, participation and career development of such young people: to provide and fund the tuition and teaching of such young people in the process of developing their musical abilities and aptitude.
