About

The charity exists to promote equality, welfare, and cultural integration for individuals of Nsukka descent living in Glasgow and surrounding areas. During the financial period, the charity made significant progress in advancing its objectives of promoting welfare, community development, and cultural integration among individuals of Nsukka descent in Glasgow and surrounding areas. Community Support and Welfare: We provided direct support to members experiencing bereavement, ill health, or other life changes by visiting them and offering gifts and financial assistance as little as we could, demonstrating our commitment to the welfare and well-being of our community. Celebration and Cultural Integration: We organised an end-of-year party to bring members together, celebrate achievements, and strengthen cultural bonds, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion within the wider Scottish society. Engagement and Governance: Regular meetings were held to discuss community needs etc
