The organisation’s main purpose is the advancement of health (both physical and mental) in Midlothian Scotland by:- • Creating a safe environment free from alcohol and non-prescribed drugs for vulnerable people to get some food and the necessary help, support and advice they need to stay on the road to recovery. • Promoting recovery from substance misuse • Providing recovery orientated activities and volunteering opportunities • Providing opportunities for voluntary work and help people work towards getting paid employment • Making recovery visible, reducing stigma and preventing suicide
