Community Wellbeing Collective

About

A social art collective/ charity of 30+ people living in and connected to Wester Hailes. It is a diverse, intergenerational, intercultural, working-class organisation dedicated to imagining, practising and creating space for collective wellbeing, and tackling barriers to positive change. We run a community space in the Westside Plaza, and produce an extensive programme of community events, weekly creative activities, and the provision of healthy food and respite in our Rest Bite Cafe. The Space is a living art-work brought to life each time a human comes to rest, connect and play within it. Local members host the space and deliver events and wellbeing activities across the week.
