Lightlands Park Initiative

About

Lightlands Park Initiative is set up to provide a safe and inclusive recreational space to upgrade current facilities within Lightlands Park, Wigtown by fundraising and applying for grants of which all funds raised will exclusively benefit the local community in concordance with section 7 (2) of the 2005 Act. (d)Advancement of health (i) Provision of provisional facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. Throughout the course of the year we have held various fundraising events and received donations from local businesses and members of the community. We will continue to apply to different funding streams until we are able to achieve our target amount.
