Go Girvan was set up to promote Girvan as a vibrant town with a strong sense of community and build positive perceptions of Girvan digitally and in person to the wider community and visitors to the town through the preservation, conservation, and protection of the natural and cultural environment. Our current focus is on the development of our community and the regeneration of our town by developing and hosting community events that bring people together to celebrate our heritage. We are involved in community asset transfers and community buyouts to protect our cultural heritage for our community. We are promoting Girvan by organising key events that support our local businesses. By building and maintaining partnerships between community groups, voluntary organisations, and public sector bodies, we work towards sustainably shaping Girvan’s future in a way that will improve the wellbeing of the people who live here and those who visit our town.
