Street Friends Helping People in Need provide outreach services to those in immediate need of food and refreshments within the city centre of Aberdeen. Our aim is to alleviate the effects of poverty and hunger and provide a friendly support and signposting service to the homeless community. Through our outreach service we provide hot drinks, toiletries, warm clothing and blankets to those in need and also provide emergency food when the local foodbanks are closed on the weekends. These items are distributed by a team of volunteers from our well stocked carts following a regular route along Union Street, six days per week.
