Maslow's Community

About

Maslow’s is set up to support people in our community by meeting basic needs, creating space for connection, and offering meaningful volunteering opportunities. Through our Community Shop, we provide free clothing and household goods to those in need, with an outreach service for individuals in Glasgow who cannot travel. Our Community Hub operates five days a week as a welcoming space where people in Govan can come together to learn, connect, and build confidence. We also work closely with local groups to improve community spaces and integration. Maslow’s is powered by a strong volunteer team—30 to 40 volunteers supported by two managers and a part-time coordinator—who help us deliver our services throughout the year.
