Friends of Ganavan [SCIO]

As detailed above Friends of Ganavan is set up to raise awareness and protection of the green space in the area known as Ganavan by Oban an area much used by both locals and visitors alike. We work alongside Oban Community Council as well as other groups, including input to the local planning department. This input is particularly valuable with the preparation of the community's Local Place Plan which is to be submitted by June 2025. Volunteers are present at all relevant community feedback sessions as to what the local community and visitors wish to see regarding the future of the natural environment including its wildlife at Ganavan.
