To prevent or relieve poverty in Scotland and other parts of the World and to assist individuals overcome the obstacles posed by poverty and support access to cultural, educational and development opportunities that can contribute to improved life chances for individuals and groups through the provision of practical support (including, without limitation, the direct provision of food and meals and the provision of water purification facilities and medical support), financial support and through the support of other related practical projects.
