Choices - Community Matters

Choices Community Matters supported and provided 1930 households to access a weekly subsidized food shop to address food insecurity in the local area. Residents were able to access a range of wraparound supports which empowered and enabled households to shop with dignity and pride. Access to additional oral health support, period poverty, supports and benefit maximization checks to ensure that all households are receiving a service which provides a tangible and real time benefit for them. All households who attend the community shop are encouraged and supported to get involved by way of volunteering in the community
