Our purpose is to promote health and wellbeing, football, education, citizenship and inclusion to our local community. We do this through a range of facilities and programmes of football and sporting related activities. We aim to work with the most disengaged people in our community. • Those unemployed and/or income deprived: People from deprived backgrounds are much less likely to participate in sport and/or physical activity. • Those with disabilities, or with poor physical or mental health: People with some kind of disability (one in five of our population) are significantly less likely to take part in sport and/or physical activity. Suicide rates across Falkirk area including Grangemouth, remain a concern. • Girls/Women: Fewer girls/women than men participate in sports and physical activity. • Children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds: There is high levels of child poverty in several areas of our local community.
