Citizens Rights Project

About

We were initially set up to provide information, advice and support for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens in Scotland about their rights after Brexit. To meet that objective, we provide regulated immigration advice (at IAA Level 1), primarily for such citizens and their families. We also provide information and support about their access and entitlement to other public services, and their rights generally (in particular in the areas of employment, housing, benefits, certain financial matters, and access to health services). We also connect with other groups and organisations working with the European citizens community, and support members of that community to take part in the wider Scottish community, and to ensure their experiences and concerns are conveyed to decision-makers and as part of consultation processes. We have also operated an e-Visa project supporting migrants from non-EUSS routes across Scotland to transition from physical documents to digital status.
