Yoker Resource Centre is a user led community anchor organisation which draws on dedicated local residents who have extensive knowledge and experience of the local and surrounding areas, including its strengths, weaknesses and development needs. Their skills and experience cover the areas of childcare, housing, environmental, health and safety, legal and planning together with well-established local networks within the public, private and voluntary sectors. The group has grown consistently in past years and is highly representative of the community profile. As a group, we have demonstrated commitment and the ability to positively develop services and facilities as well as overcome disappointments over the last 30 years in order to regenerate the local community. Yoker Resource Centre also fits the profile of a community-managed, responsive, responsible and locally-representative organisation. We have a reputation for delivering projects to specifications, on time and on budget.
