Tullibody Community Garden

About

We are a large, friendly community garden in the heart of Tullibody. We provide volunteering opportunities that develop gardening, cooking, social and vocational skills. Our volunteers come from all walks of life - all come to grow fresh produce in a climate-friendly way and to make affordable, local, garden grown fresh fruit and vegetables available to our wider community. We have a kitchen portacabin on site and that makes us uniquely placed to make connections between growing and cooking - from 'fork to plate’. We run gardening and cookery workshops and hold community open days where we provide all resources eg compost, seeds, ingredients, recipes. Many of the cookery sessions we run are ‘cooking on a budget’ or for total beginners. Through our sessional gardener and cook we deliver educational activities to local nursery and primary schools. college groups and other community organisations.
