Cumbernauld Resilience provides support to individuals and families in the Cumbernauld area who are facing financial hardship, food insecurity, or crisis situations. We operate a community foodbank offering emergency food parcels and essential household items to those in need, while also signposting people to other local services for longer-term assistance. Our activities include collecting and distributing donated food, working in partnership with local organisations, schools, and businesses, and promoting community resilience through volunteering and local support initiatives. The charity’s purpose is to relieve poverty and distress, reduce hunger, and strengthen community wellbeing in Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas.
