Nyodema Foundation

About

Nyodema Foundation is a Glasgow-based humanitarian charity established to support disadvantaged and marginalised communities, including ethnic minorities, refugees and asylum seekers, low-income families, and LGBTQI+ individuals. Our mission is to reduce poverty, alleviate hardship, improve wellbeing, and promote long-term socio-economic integration within Scottish society. We achieve this through a range of community-led services and interventions, including targeted intervention services, subsistence support, employability assistance, English language and digital literacy training, one-to-one coaching and mentoring, mental health and wellbeing support, and inclusive community engagement activities. Our work is shaped by lived experience, with many trustees, volunteers, and former service users actively contributing to the design and delivery of our services.
