Ando Glaso SCIO is a Roma-led charity set up to celebrate, protect and develop Roma culture in Scotland. Our purpose is to empower Roma people through arts, heritage and community participation, ensuring that our traditions, skills and identity are recognised, valued and passed on to future generations. We achieve this by delivering a wide programme of creative, cultural and community work. This includes supporting Roma musicians and artists through training, mentoring and professional opportunities. running youth programmes that help young Roma people develop skills, confidence and pathways into the arts. and delivering heritage work that documents, preserves and shares Roma intangible cultural heritage. We work directly within Roma communities, providing culturally relevant workshops, events and support delivered by Roma practitioners.
