The General Anderson Trust operates a care home that provides residential care for elderly people. The care home is registered with the Care Inspectorate and caters for up to 51 residents. Care is provided by trained staff and where appropriate and necessary by qualified medical and other professionals. There is strong engagement with the local community and a wide range of activities for residents is organised. The organisation also provides transport facilities for its own residents as well as other local organisations including church groups, lunch clubs, other care homes, charities that support elderly, infirm people or those with disabilities and youth and school groups.
