The Trust’s public benefit will be discharged by (a) making donations to charitable activities in accordance with its objectives and Grant Making Policy. and (b) by the advancement of environmental protection, improvement and preservation and conservation of natural heritage through the regeneration and restoration of the native woodlands of Scotland, and their associated flora, fauna and wildlife (particularly rare or endangered) together with the advancement of education in respect of these activities. The Trust intends to fulfil these purposes via the purchase of land in Scotland which will be regenerated in the manner outlined above as part of a specific project carried out in partnership with the University of Edinburgh.
