Dundee Hawkhill Harriers Athletics Club
✓ Registered charity · SC049831About
Our purposes, as recorded in our constitution, are to promote and advance all disciplines of athletics as a competitive sport. To provide recreational facilities, and to organise recreational activities, available to members of the public at large, with the object of improving the conditions of life. We provide athletics coaching and competition to members of the community from age nine upwards from our base at the Regional Performance Centre (RPC) Dundee. The club provides coaching in sprints, endurance, jumps and throws across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings to athletes in all ages and abilities. In any week, over 220 children and adults will attend our training sessions in preparation for competition at local and national level. We use the outdoor and indoor tracks at the RPC Dundee along with training sessions using the parks of Dundee. We also offer taster sessions for the future potential athlete, many of whom have gone on to become successful athletes.
