About

Our principal purpose is to advance arts, heritage and culture in Peebles and the wider Scottish Borders by: a) promoting the performance of live chamber music. b) fostering wider appreciation of chamber music by making it accessible across the community. In order to achieve its purpose, the Organisation will undertake the following activities: a)present an annual series of chamber music concerts. b)provide opportunity for young musicians to perform live, as they work to develop their careers. c)promote the musical interests of Scottish musicians and performing musicians based in Scotland. d)provide opportunities for audiences to extend their listening range by programming less familiar & contemporary works. e)via outreach, facilitate musical education with local schools and other arts organisations f) collaborate with other organisations to promote wider access to music-making. g)improve accessibility to music for older members of the community and those of limited mobility.
