About

Alloa Community Shed benefits the community of Alloa by providing inclusive recreational activities that improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and strengthen community connections. Through practical activities such as woodwork, building, crafts and other hands-on skills, we create opportunities for people to come together, build friendships and access peer support, helping to reduce loneliness and improve quality of life. We advance community development by enabling participants to share skills, learn from each other and take part in volunteering and local projects. Working in partnership with organisations such as the NHS, local authorities and schools, we support individuals to build confidence, develop practical abilities and gain a sense of purpose, while also delivering positive outcomes for the wider community through creative, social and practical contributions.
