The Senatus of Scotland oversee the Legion groups (praesidia) which are predominately based in parishes all over Scotland, these praesidia meet weekly and members (legionaries) undertake definitive work tasks. This active apostolate is undertaken in a spirit of faith, in union with Mary, seeing and serving Christ in all. The works undertaken are listed below: • Visitation of lonely and elderly in their own homes and care homes. • Running of the Wayside Club and visitation of hostels for homeless. • Visitation of families to help preparation for and reception of the sacraments. • Promotion of prayer in the home by visiting with the statue of Our Lady and praying the rosary with the family. • Visitation of primary and secondary schools - participation in assemblies, class visitation, and rosary prayer groups. • Organising Patrician meetings (faith discussion groups). • Visitation of homes in parish area. • During the Christmas period, legionaries bring the Crib to public places and
