Baltic Street Adventure Playground is a free, child-led, supervised adventure playground for children, in an area of significant disadvantage. Primarily, we give children access to experiences and activities that are not otherwise available, building a supportive network of families and organisations that develops a sense of community, and empowers its members. Our core Community and Family Sessions that aim to provide a consistently available space for safe play, addressing barriers to communication and creativity while providing emotional, social and physical nurturing for a core group of 90 local children in particular. Our food services distribute over 300,000 nutritious meal portions annually.
