The Aberdeen Multicultural Centre (AMC) is dedicated to promoting social inclusion, harmony, and equality across the North East of Scotland. Our primary mission is to support individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ensuring they have the tools to thrive while enriching the local community. We bridge gaps through a three-pillar approach: Social Integration & Support: We provide essential advice on housing, employment, and education. Our 'Language Cafe' and ESOL classes help break down communication barriers for newcomers. Cultural Celebration: Through events like the Aberdeen Mela, we showcase the city’s vibrant diversity, fostering mutual respect and understanding between different communities. Health & Wellbeing: We run targeted programs to tackle health inequalities, offering mental health support and fitness activities tailored to cultural needs.
