About

Rail 74 Community Rail Partnership is set up to connect communities along the rail corridor and help local people benefit from their railway. We do this by working with schools, families, volunteers, community groups, rail partners and funders to deliver inclusive rail journeys, learning activities, station projects and community events. Our work helps people build confidence using trains, understand rail safety, explore local heritage, access opportunities and feel more connected to the places along the line. We also create practical resources such as line guides and travel passports, support greener and more welcoming station spaces, and promote inclusion so that rail travel feels accessible, safe and positive for more people.
