The organisation's purposes are: To advance public participation in the sport of rowing in Orkney for both competitive and recreational purposes and to maintain the highest standards of safety and technical competence within the sport. To organise recreational activities associated with rowing to improve the conditions of life of Orkney residents and visitors.
