Our charity Renfrewshire Model Railway Club aims to educate the public about and preserve the hobby of model railways. We achieve this by hosting and attending exhibitions, fostering interest and appreciation for the hobby. Providing a supportive environment for members to learn and refine their model-building skills, from basic construction to advanced techniques. Encouraging the exchange of ideas and expertise among members through social gatherings and workshops. Emphasizing the importance of research and historical accuracy in model railway design, connecting the hobby to real-world railway history. Recently we have undertaken the task of running various free courses on how to build a model railway totally paid for by a grant we received.
