To alleviate and prevent poverty through provision of support and assistance to prisoners and ex-prisoners. to provide training and educational opportunities, including opportunities for former prisoners to develop skills in mentoring. to promote health and save lives through recovery from addiction. to promote good citizenship through desistance from crime. to promote reconciliation between former prisoners and their families and victims. to promote equality of treatment for people leaving prison in relation to health, employment and other public and social services. to relieve need among people at a disadvantage on leaving prison.
