About

U-evolve exists to ensure that young people in Edinburgh don’t face mental health challenges alone. We work across the city, recognising that mental health impacts all young people. However, we focus much of our work in Edinburgh’s most deprived communities, where young people often face additional barriers to accessing the support, services, and opportunities that promote wellbeing. Our vision—co-produced with young people—is that all young people experience positive mental health and have access to inclusive, compassionate support when they need it. Our mission—also co-produced with young people—is to support them to feel better, build confidence in who they are, and develop tools to take control of their lives. We work alongside young people to understand their needs and design our services around their experiences. Each year, U-evolve supports over 200 young people who need space, connection, and the right support to improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
