The objectives of the charitable company are to encourage and develop public participation in golf through the provision of facilities and the organisation of activities. The charitable company aims to promote golf in the Lothian and Border areas for the benefit of young people who otherwise might not have that opportunity because of their age or their social and economic circumstances. The charitable company aims to help those who participate learn discipline, control and honesty, whilst enjoying the game and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The charitable company strives to ensure that everyone becomes “the best they can be”.
