The charity's main aim is to promote early detection of mouth cancer in order to improve patient prognosis. This is done by 1. creating awareness in the public by promoting mouth self examination. 2. by engaging with the dental profession - dentists and dental chair side professionals - to empower them to identify suspicious lesions and to refer patients appropriately 3. by delivering teaching and workshops to undergraduate students, emphasising the importance of early detection.
