We aim to rescue and re-home commercial laying hens to save them from slaughter when commercial farms depopulate and replace flocks with younger point of lay hens. We rescue mainly ex-commercial laying hens but also ducks, turkeys, pigeons. many types of bird. We promote animal advocacy for all species, responsible animal husbandry and alternative choices such a rescue hens rather than hatching projects. We provide veterinary care where necessary, for all species of birds. We have set up a grant fund for community groups and small charities to further promote our charity aims.
