The organisation’s purposes are: The advancement of education. The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. The advancement of community development. The advancement of religion. And in furthernance of the above the organisation will aim to: • promote involvement of the community and general public in the development and preservation of the history and archaeology of Papa Stour. • provide opportunity for learning through specific projects, training, display of information and guided tours. • preserve or conserve any historic building, archaeology or artefact which may come into the care or ownership of the Group, for the benefit of the community and public. • provide broadband for the community and visitor and public use. • Provide a place of Christian worship for a minimum of 6 times per annum.
