About

Glenurquhart Highland Gathering and Games organises, promotes and runs the annual Glenurquhart Highland Gathering and Games in Drumnadrochit each August. We actively encourage local people, visitors and athletes and musicians from further afield to take part. Through our promotion of the event and on the day itself, we help people to appreciate the history and traditions underpinning the various events and entertainments at the games. We award grants/donations to charities, organisations, activities and/or projects which advance citizenship or community development in the parishes of Abertaff, Glenmoriston, Glenurquhart, Kiltarlity, Kilmorack and Kirkhill.
