1) To establish and run a transport museum 2) To advance the education of: - the public by provision of a museum for historic passenger carrying and commercial vehicles - members by providing training in skills needed to maintain heritage vehicles 3) To advance heritage by: - promoting the restoration and preservation of historic passenger carrying and commercial vehicles - providing a safe secure restoration facility for heritage vehicles. - by facilitating attendance of heritage vehicles at community events 4) To contribute to community development by: - operating a visitor attraction in the form of a museum for historic passenger carrying and commercial vehicles - providing, where possible, investment and employment opportunities in the local area - where necessary rehabilitating a previously out of use building
