About

Bazooka Arts provide therapeutic and participatory arts projects for children and adults. We aim to maximise opportunities for people to experience the many benefits arts participation can have including improving health and wellbeing and social connections. We have a person led approach to facilitating arts projects and prioritise providing arts programmes for people who may face barriers to accessing arts participation due to disability, mental and physical health issues, caring for others , social isolation and poverty. Projects are delivered by professionally trained arts practitioners who specialise in working with people in community and education settings, (some are also HCPC Drama and Art Therapists). We deliver workshops, projects and events in a wide variety of art forms including visual art, design, theatre, dance and film making. We currently deliver funded programmes in North and South Lanarkshire in community and education settings.
