Our activities throughout the year included fundraising and organizing various charity events. Funds raised were used to hold Free Eye Camps. The charity held its first Free Eye Camp in a rural area of Kashmir in October 2014, whereby 300 to 350 patients were screened, and 39cataract surgeries were carried out. During the year the charity held a total of 19 free eye camps against 17 last year an increase of 2 (11°/+) in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan. A total of 5,767 individuals were screened against5,374last year an increase of 393 (7%) with1,314 successful surgeries undertaken against1,401 last year a decrease of 87 (6/), with2,400 patients provided with reading glasses compared to2,542 last year a decrease of142 (6°/») and provided prescription glasses to 178 individuals.
