Muthill Village Trust

About

MVT was set up to improve the quality of life for everyone living and working in Muthill. The Trust works on the priority projects and themes identified by the community and set out in the Muthill Community Action Plan. Themes in the current plan (valid 2024-2029) are 1) Community and Recreational Facilities - this is being actioned via the Muthill Community Hub project 2) Housing and Infrastructure - the Trust has joined Community Energy Scotland and is exploring opportunities around community benefit from local renewable projects 3) Village Shops and services - this theme is being addressed through the Hub project 4) Environment and Heritage - the Trust still hopes to progress the second phase of its cycle path completing a link to Crieff despite funding challenges. Preserving Muthill's heritage is also part of the Hub project 5) Roads and Transport - the Trust has worked with Muthill Community Council to improve road safety and traffic calming measures in the village.
