WATIF is a local community development trust based in rural Clydesdale that represents the views and aspirations of local residents after extensive community consultation over 12 years. Our 6 work programmes aim to respond to the unmet needs of our area and includes develop and improve facilities, improve local services, develop community projects, improve the environment, develop social enterprises, and develop housing and derelict sites. By listening to and working with the community we aim to create local jobs, enhance health and wellbeing, increase access to essential services and improve the local environment. Since WATIF acquired their first ever premises at Loanhead Farm with the view to use it as a multiuse community enterprise, we have strived to deliver community and income generating projects to enable us to achieve our vision of a beautiful and vibrant place, with a great quality of life for all.
