Our aim is to provide therapy/education to some of the most disadvantaged children and young people living in and around Mae Sot in Thailand. All the families we work with are from neighbouring Myanmar, having been displaced from their homes over the past decades due to civil war. Recent escalation in tensions within Myanmar has resulted in further movement of displaced people. The children who we work with are further disadvantaged by disability and we are committed to improving lives, one at a time, through therapy provision that can help to improve movement, achieve higher levels of functional independence, and lead to a better quality of life. This is done through community visits, linking with local clinics, and working alongside social and education provisions including special schools.
